i notice my linkstation live has the rsync port open after i portscanned my device, what is the purpose of this, can i rync backups to the device in some way from my mac/linux and xp pc's?
The rsync is opened for running backups if you have two or more NAS devices. This does not allow for running rsync from computers to the NAS devices.
