Title: does the hd-h250lan use the same firmware as the hd-h400lan?
Post by: bdc1989 on March 05, 2009, 04:14:13 PM
I have an hd-h250lan that is chugging along fine.  however, I am experiencing the slow write times to the external usb I just hooked up.  I can't find the support page for this NAS.  Is it the same as the hd-h400lan (i.e. same machine with a smaller hard drive)? Thanks in advance

bdc1989,

You would be correct in your assumption.  As long as the principle model HD-H250LAN is the same as HD-H400LAN then that should work with little issue.
