Title: Buffalonas / web access issues
Post by: necron on March 04, 2009, 10:16:07 PM

I've got a Linkstation pro duo (just purchased 2 days ago, whee!) that i'm havingn some issues with. I can access it with buffalonas.com when on my home network, but when I go to work it can't find it at all. I believe it to be an issue with my IP... I think it's looking for a local IP (192.168.x.x) and not my correct external IP. I have tried forcing it to my external IP, but this justs messed everything up.

Suggestions?

disbale UPnP in the web access setup and manually select port 9000, then forward this port to the IP address of the linkstation through your routers GUI.

This will solve your issue.
