Per the posting guidelines (actual question below):
1) Include the model number of your product.- NAS 1T BUFFALO LS-CH1.0TL RT
2) Include the firmware revision. - 1.07
3) Include information about your computer, network, etc. - Two PC's both running XP. One MacBook Pro that I just got so I assume it has the latest software. Netgear wireless router. The 2 PC's and Mac share one Linkstation live as a media server. I have another Linkstation live that backs-up the Linkstation media server and also (via Memeo) the two PC's. EVerythign working fine with the excetpion of the disconnection issue outlined below.
4) More details are better than less details for people trying to help solve your issue:
Can someone please confirm/deny that the "auto on" feature does not work with Mac (specifically a MAcBook Pro) and a BUFFALO LS-CH1.0TL.
I have my two PC's and my Mac accessing the Linkstation Live but I shut down the PCs the BUFFALO LS-CH1.0TL RT drops the connection to my Mac. If one of the PC's is up the Mac has no connectivity issues. Is this a known issue - Mac's can't trip the auto-on feature. I currently do not have the NASNavi 2 installed on the Mac, is this a requirement to ensure that the drives seen by the Mac do not disconnnect when the PC's shut down?
Thanks,
Tom
Bump.
I have the most recent version of the NasNavi (2.15) installed on my new Mac and I can't wake up my LinkStation Live (1.07) system. Help.
Thanks.
