Title: TS Live No Link
Post by: Iano on March 01, 2009, 01:34:44 PM

I had a problem with my TS Live, it wouldn't boot. Eventually I got it in to EM mode and determined that disk 3 was the problem. Removing disk 3 then allowed me to reflash the (2.14) firmware and all was almost well. I tired to reconnect disk 3 to see if the array woul rebuild it. THe TS boots but never bring the network up the LCD panel says "Link Speed No Link", and is the same in EM mode. The Act/Link light blinks rapidly.

Can anyone help?

I got a bit further with this. Removing drive 3 and unpluging the unit from mains allowed it to get in to EM mode. I reflashed it and now have it up and running with just 3 disks.

Do you just power it off, slot a new disk in and rebuild the array (through the web interface)?
