Title: Logical Disk Manager. The Format did Not Complete Successfully
Post by: rarroyo29 on February 27, 2009, 05:44:32 PM
I've a TS-IGL/R5 configured as RAID10.  After registering and connecting to it I create a new partition on the entire disk, and do a standard format.  About 75% though it keeps on failing with the error message. "The Format did not complete successfully."  What is the fix?

Could have a possible bad drive.  Try it in raid 0, or 1 and see if the problem persists, also make sure firmware is up to date.
