Title: Can't format in all FS
Post by: Ender on February 25, 2009, 03:50:53 PM

Hi all,

I post here because I have à problem with my LinkStation ProDuo 1TB.

I don't know why but I can't modify the FS of the disks. There is only XFS. It seems it's since I changed the RAID Array configuration.

I can format the disks in XFS but it's all. No EXT3 and no FAT32... :(

Is there a way to completely reset the LinkStation (the function in the GUI doesn't reset the RAID array I think).

Thank you for your help.

The file system of it's own disks need to stay in xfs. You do not have those other options.

When i installed the NAS yesterday, before i do anything, i had these options accessible.

I don't see any problem to stay in XFS it i succeed to resolve my first problem : if i try to create or to add files/folder in a shared folder, it disappears immediatly.

But, il i disconnect the SMB and i reconnect, the files/folders a really here and, now there is at least one file visible, i can create/add files/folders normally and i can see them.

It's very surprising and it shows that's not a permission problem...
