Title: Bittorent client and Upnp
Post by: lambroff on February 24, 2009, 08:11:33 PM

I have a Linkstation Live LS-CH1.0L running firmware 1.06.  I cannot get Bittorrent client to connect after I have imported torrent files.  Upnp does not negotiate with my router, although my router's Upnp table does show an entry for the WebAccess server (BuffaloWebAxs). When I try to manually forward port 6881 through my router it still doesnt connect. I have also tried changing to a higher port (10000) with no success.  It seems taht Upnp should be negotiating the connection since it is working for BuffaloWebAxs. Any help is appreciated.

Who is your internet provider? What kind of router you do have? What are the first two numbers of the router's WAN or Internet side ip address (that is, if the ip address is 12.34.56.78, give me 12.34)?

I got it working by manually tweaking my port forwarding (again).  Never did get upnp to work right, though.  Thanks for your time.
