Title: Buffalo LinkStation EZ LS-L320GL drops connection every 5-6 hours
Post by: m68_x on February 22, 2009, 09:27:27 PM

just bought it today, but the network connection keeps dropping every 5-6 hours(i upgraded to firm version 2.01). the home network set up is standard with a linksys router WRT54G. I pressed the power button, it did not shutdown, so I had to unplug the power cable, this is really not very pleasent. can some one please advise:

[1] how to reboot it? (not on the manual!)

[2] how can the network connection stay on without dropping?

thanks

mike

What version of the WRT-54G do you have?

If you have the older hardware revision, you may need to upgrade the firmware on the unit, back when that was a newer router, we had many line negotiation issues regarding this router and our NAS drives. But, the firmware update seemed to solve those.
