Hi All,

I've set the NAS up fine on my new Vista 64 bit machine. (over LAN)

However i can't get my other vista 64-bit machine to access the shared drive (Over wifi). I get the error after installing NasNav2 "Could not open shared folder. Confirm Drive Status"

Well its on and quite happy with the my new machine so why can't i see it on the old one?

You don't need the software to use the drive.

Just copy down what the Navigator on your other comp says the IP address is and then just go to the RUN command and type in "\\ipaddress" and that should take you to your shares. Just right click on your shares and select map network drive.

I've tried that, but i get the error "windows cannot find \\192.168.03" however i can access the web admin on http://192.168.0.3.

Any ideas?

Have you enabled "File and Printer Sharing" in you Local Area Connection properties?

Yep, done all the obvious stuff on the checks. It might be vista, i can't access anything using \\192.168.0.XX via IE ( i know the address is right too )?!?!?

Don't access it in IE... you must use Run, \\x.x.x.x where x.x.x.x is the ip address. Make sure the ip address is correct.
