Title: No security on subfolders
Post by: grindstt on February 19, 2009, 01:45:34 PM
I just purchased 4 TeraStation Pro II Rackmount 4 TB and am finding out about the subfolder limitation, much to my surprise.  Another post has given me some hope, however.  If I use NFS with VMWare ESX, will it see these devices as native drives?  I am building a VM-Ware ESX server with two vms, and have been informed that, with NFS enabled Hardware, the host will see the drives as native.  Is this true or am I wasting my time?

I've been looking around for info on your question, and it SEEMS like it should work, but as I have no experience with VMWare ESX, I can't say for sure.
