I have a Tera Station Pro model # TS-RH2.0TGL/R5. I have had problems with this station loosing connection on the network and I am unable to connect to it through the navigator after a period of time. It would also say Rebuilding array1 and not go anywhere. This morning I tried updating the firmware from 1.23 to 1.33. After that I have lost the connection altogether. It seems that it has lost all the settings for the setup. It now has the name of the terastation as the host name and retained the IP that I have set it up with. I am unable to go through browser management to get to the set up of the unit.

 

Is there a way to do a hard reset to get this unit to go to the factory settings?

 

   You can reset the device by holding the red reset botton that you will find under the front pannel where you can access the HDDs. When you run the Nas Navigator utility, if it shows blank lines for the firmware version that means the firmware update did not take. You will likely have to boot the unit into EM mode. You can do this by holding the reset button I mentioned earlier down as you start up the machine. You will see on the screen a message that reads "System EM Mode Booting". Once you see that message release the reset button and allow it a minute or two to boot up. Try the firmware update again in EM mode. After that you should be able to log into the web utility and check all your settings to make sure everything is the way it should be.
