Title: FTP SW Filezilla shows more FTP folders than were authorized
Post by: bogenfisch on February 13, 2009, 02:48:07 PM

I've set up my Linkstation Live HS-DH250GL-DE to allow FTP access from the internet to a single folder called "Photos".

I would have expected just to see the released folder Photos.  What I am seeing is

/disk1/Photos

/disk1/Photos/[further sub directories]

/info

/info/English/

/info/English/[further sub directories]

/msdfs_root

The Info is obviously the INFOs directory where the handbook is located.  What the msdfs_root directory is - no idea.

How can these be removed from the FTP servers shared folder list?

These are default folders on the unit. FTP users should not be able to edit them. Unfortunately there is no way to remove them.
