Title: Replication password AD TeraStation Pro II
Post by: wanerpablo on February 13, 2009, 09:51:59 AM
   Hello

I have a Terastation Pro II in my domain, but when a user changes his password in AD, is not updated on the Terastation. How can I solve this problem.

Thanks

A reboot should update changes as long as the Admin name and password of your domain did not change... You can also simply "Rejoin" the TS to your domain, just go to Network Settings> Domain Settings> Type your domain name and pwd in and press Apply.

   Thanks Kevin

This option and the test remains the same but also remove users and apply it to see if they took the new permits, but without success.

Just making sure I understand... You said you tried removing all the users and joining AD again, and this didn't find any new users, but did it find the first set of users you had in it?

Have you tried forcing FW on the unit?

Make sure your date and time on the unit is within 5 minutes of your Domain Controller (remember Eastern Time is -5 hours).

We have removed the ad terastation and add it again, we have removed the permissions for users within the terastation and adds it again. Also we have changed 5 minutes compared with the time domain. But if we change the password of any user is not replicated in the permit which manages terastation, who understand that taking the ad. Apparently these permissions terastion to save the time that was added to the first ad.

Try forcing the FW on the unit and then rejoin AD.
