Title: LS-W1.0TGL/R1 - System Won't Handle More Than One Event at a Time?
Post by: gswetsky on July 08, 2013, 03:05:12 PM

My system has been working well for years backing up across my gigabit LAN.  However, since I've updated my workstation hardware, it fails seemingly if called to do more than one task.

The new system consists of a 60 gig SSD for boot and Windows files and a hard drive for user files.  At 14:00 I have a task set up to back up the SSD.  It consists of backing up the hidden partition and then the Windows files.  This one always fails using either Norton or Paragon software.  At 16::00 the system will back up the D: drive with all the user files on it.  This task will only fail if I haven't cleared the error from the previous tasks.  Otherwise it works like a charm.

The only thing I can figure is the problem lies in the NAS system.  I have sent the log files to Buffalo several months ago and never heard back.  My firmware is 3.10.

Suggestions?  I'm running Windows 7 Pro on a MSI 990FXA-GD80 motherboard, AMD FX-8350 CPU, sixteen gig RAM and Geforce GTX-660 graphics card.

So wait, the issue only started to occur when you changed your PC hardware, and this makes you think the problem lies with the NAS why exactly?!
