Title: Shadow Copies question
Post by: gfellerj on June 26, 2013, 10:02:01 AM

Hello,

We are thinking of purchasing a TeraStation ES for our network environment and setting it up as a primary file server.  In windows file server we have shadow copies so if a user makes a mistake or writes over a document I can go in and restore an earlier version.  Does the Terastation have anything built in that is comparable?

Apart from scheduled backups I'm afraid not.

Can you elaborate on scheduled backups?  Do you mean keep a copy for each day?
