Title: Filetypes via DLNA on Linkstation Live
Post by: mmmBuff on February 11, 2009, 06:00:25 PM

I have the latest firmware running on the Linkstation Live ...fw version 2.11

I'm trying to see .avi files using iTunes and Windows Media Player 11 running on a Dell laptop with XP Pro.

I can see the Linkstation in iTunes, but I only see audio files.  I cannot see any of my videos in the media folder (.avi files) using iTunes or WMP.

What file types are supported by the PCast service on the Linkstation Live?

Those media players may not support video over DLNA. Try just mapping the share as a drive and pointing the media player to that.
