Title: HD-PATU3 Portable HD not recognized?

Hi guys,

My 1TB portable Thunderbolt drive is picked up on my Mac but when i try to connect it to my Samsung TV or my Synology NAS its doesnt read the connection?

Any ideas?

What filesystem have you formated your portable HD to?

I havnt.

I just pluged in from scratch?

Your TV and MAC cannot support the default file format (MAC OSX Extended Journaled). You need to reformat the HDD to a file type that all your devices support.
