Title: How to rebuild RAID5 array on HD-HTGL/R5
Post by: mikeaymar on May 20, 2013, 01:06:43 AM

I have replaced a failed drive on my HD-HTGL/R5 per the manual and want

to rebuild my array while keeping my existing data.  However, the only option I

seem to get is to restructure the array, which appears to delete all existing data,

which I do NOT want to do.

Can you please provide instructions on how rebuild my existing array while

keeping my data intact?

Thankyou

Mike

Restructuring is the same as rebuilding. It formats only the replaced disk, however ensure you have a backup before proceeding.
