Title: LS-VL 2TB NAS been disk checking for 6 days and still going
Post by: Zealot365 on May 19, 2013, 02:28:41 PM

Please help, surely it doesn't take this long, I've checked the code for the Orange 2 long and one short dahses and it indicates the NAS drive is checking the disk.

But this has been going on for 6 days now and I really cant wait much longer as I have things to do but my files are on the NAS which I can not access until the check disk has finished.

Any ideas, can it be reset without losing my files ?

I am running it on an IMac OS X

Regards

Ant

Hi Guys, the station has now been checking for 13 days !!!!!!,  is there nobody that can help here, have any other people had similar issue ?

I am getting to the point of pulling the plug in the hope I don't lose over 10 years of family photos and videos :(

Are there no Buffalo tech support people in this forum ?

I'd call Buffalo support before pulling the plug, just to be safe.
