Just got this unit, NAS Navigator was ALREADY installed since I have two LS-WVL's, configured it and changed its IP to work on my home network. All was fine.
Then started the firmware upgrade via web interface.
On the left-hand window it says "Updating Firmware" and to "...not close or refresh this window, etc" and on main screen it says: "Upating Firmware... Details..... Progress: Updating of the firmware has started" and there's a little spinning icon beow that.
But, that's ALL that's happening. Has sat there for about 20 minutes now, there is no progress indicator at all, and the unit is still sending notifications to Nas Navi about a firmware update BEING available.
How long is this firmware update supposed to take?
The answer is..... forever; the update never got started. Fortunately, Buffalo support is 24/7 and a knowledgeable tech sorted it out. The update had to be done manually with the downloaded firmware, and the TSUpdater.exe within it. FYI for anyone reading this.
