Title: Off Subnet Terrastations, Folder replication over Internet
Post by: drodz on May 08, 2013, 12:03:52 PM

I have 2 TS-XE4.0TL/R5 boxes. I setup external access on ethernet 2 of each box from the comcast router with a 1 to 1 NAT:

Public 50.xxx.xxx.236 to Private 10.1.10.236 (Same exact setup on each side except for the public IP)

I then configured port forwarding:

rsync public 873  Private 873~873 tcp/udp 10.1.10.236

Sonar1 public 22938 Private 22938~22938 tcp/udp 10.1.10.236

Sonar2 public 22939 Private 22939~22939tcp/udp 10.1.10.236

On box A I have a source folder "Support" it has Read&Write Enabled, Recycle bin disabled, Windows & Apple Checked and access restrictions with Domain Groups "Domain Admins" R/W

On box B I have a Target folder "Support" it has Read&Write Enabled, Recycle bin disabled, Windows, Apple & Disk Backup Checked and access restrictions with Domain Groups "Domain Admins" R/W

I then go to System/Backup and click the "View NAS Devices" shortcut and add the public IP 50.xxx.xxx.236 to the "Off Subnet Terrastations" and click refresh. At this point Box B is supposed to show up in the "Local Terastations" window so that it can be selected when adding the replication task but it does not. Can anyone tell me what I am Missing?

Thanks, drodz
