Title: Problem using Linkstation LS-WXL3C7 with Time Machine on OSX Lion
Post by: Renuple on May 01, 2013, 02:10:17 PM

Hi,

I'm running OSX Lion 10.7.5 and am trying to get TimeMachine working with a LinkStation LS-WXL3C7. After much fiddling I got the station to be available in the Time Machine menu but now it's complaining that it doesn't support "the required AFP features".

On the LinkStation, I have:

* Upadted to the latest firmware (1.64)

* Enabled AFP

* Enabled TimeMachine

Ca you please let me know if this is supposed to work and how I might solve this issue? As a note, when enabling the TimeMachine on the LinkStation, I was not asked to enter my Mac's MAC address... (in some version of the documentation it says it should).

Thanks in advance,

Laurent
