Title: Buffalo LS-WXL: Folder created over SFTP on chmod 755
Post by: nomit on April 22, 2013, 10:35:56 AM

I have a LS-WXL on which are three registred users. All of them have full read and write-rights. So User2 can edit a folder created by User1 over SMB.

But the same does not apply to folders created over SFTP. Those folders can only be renamed by the creator and are on chmod 755. Folders created over SMB are always on 777 as it should be...

Unfortunately I haven't found any option which would fix that issue. As I'm using cyberduck I checked that cyberduck settings are on 777 for new folders. Despite of this folders created by cyberduck are on 755.

Does anybody knows how to solve that issue?
