Title: Help!!! Cant mount an external usb drive to Linkstation Live LSCH

...Ive tried everything - even Buffalo telephone support are struggling.

 

Im simply trying to attach an external drive (2TB) to my Linkstation Live LSCHL 1TB. 

 

The Linkstation can see the external drive but cannot format it - it keeps failing.

 

There is nothing wrong with either of the drives.  

 

Ive tried formatting the external drive in windows, leaving it unallocated. and even formatting in Linux as XFS.

 

The linkstation can see the drive but I cant transfer data across.

 

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
