Title: LS XL - DOA or me being thick?
Post by: Smash on April 09, 2013, 02:34:23 PM

First off, hi everyone, first post.  But! first Buffalo NAS I've bought so the two go hand in hand I suppose.

I got my new Linkstation Live 1Tb today, have hooked it up, power on and ..... nothing but a blue flashing light.  LSNavi can't see it, hub doesn't see it.  Green LAN light is on and flashes now and then, but that's it.  I've swapped Cat5 cable with known working cable and swapped ports on hub.  All of this makes no difference.

I'm nearly committed to return it as DOA but is there anything I could have missed? (Obvious or not as obvious..)

Many thanks for any help..!

Cheers :)

Maf.

Hi again..

Have tried to boot into EM mode - but with no buttons AT ALL on this thing, am not sure how to go about it?  Assume it's not possible?

Cheers,

Maf
