Title: LS-X3.OTL - Trashbox ... how things get there
Post by: Igbar on March 30, 2013, 02:20:48 PM

I found where the 'trashbox' can be turned on and off but my question is how things get put there.  I can understand things getting there when I DELETE them.  But there are things in there that I have not deleted.  AND they actually still remain in their original folders also.

So my question is .. how do things get in there.  Is it simply a matter of changing them?

Thanks

LS-CH1.5TL-V2 with newest Firmware

Is it possible to get an answer on this as I am having this problem too - I had 120 gigs moved into the trash box of items I did not want to be moved..

IIf I turn OFF the trashbox will this stop or will it still happen but the files get destroyed?

This has been happening more and more the last few months - I look for a document in one of the shares only to find it in the ttash box.. I am the only one who has access to tthis.

I agree.  I get it that buffalo doesn't really respond here for some reason but I hope someone else knows how/why things get here.  And maybe if it is safe to turn off.
