Title: How replication works
Post by: dvpeace on March 27, 2013, 07:01:50 AM

I have a TS5600D 24TB nas box and am looking at replicating this off site. The source box is used to store windows baremetal backups for our servers, these are using the incremental updates that apply block level changes to the backup vhd's.

My question is how the replication will work in this senario, will the terra station make just the block level changes to these large files our will it try and copy the entire file again?

I need a better understanding of how the nas box replicates, any advise or information welcome.

Regards

David
