Title: Question Mark(?) On Disk Icon
Post by: fnappi on March 26, 2013, 09:50:35 AM

I just received my Link Station Pro Duo 4TB network drive on Monday, 3/25.  Last Night I configured it for a Raid arrangement (2TB total) and updated the firmware to revision 1.64.  Everything looks like it is working fine.  I can access the drive from multiple devices and it appears to be 100% OK.  I also have copied data to it along with running a back up on one of my laptops and it all works OK.  When I open up the Link Station navigation software, it shows an icon of the disk.  In the middle of the icon is a question mark.  Not sure why. It does not appear to be causing any issues, though I assume something is not right.  The system is also sending me notifications (lower right of screen).  I cannot make heads or tales of what the notification is telling me.   What does the question mark mean?   How can do I proceed to get rid of the question mark.    Thank You

Well----as of this evening the question mark is no longer there. Not sure why it went away. Thank you for responding.

It was probably doing a RAID check after you created the new RAID. This is normal.
