HELP

I cannot:

- Access shares

- Ping it

- Access web admin

- See it using the TS client software

When it boots i get the normal green power and blue gigbit connection.

Ive tried :

- INIT button....flashes a bit but then nothing

- Connected it to 100mb pc.   Shows green act light, but nothing more

- Forced EM mode.   Simply flashes continually with diag(red) and power (green).  ACT is green.    does thing for 6+ hours.

- direct connection to laptop with network sniffer set to 192.168.11.0.  No network traffic and still not found by ping, client etc.

- Loads of other things...different pcs etc etc....checked router logs for dhcp requests etc

PLEASE HELP.

Hook the ts up to your laptop and set your computers ip to 192.168.11.1 and run the tftp boot. You can find it here

ftp://24.153.165.234/disk1/share/nas-recovery/

for your unit. The tftp boot will extract then launch a dos window. after a couple minutes try and see if the ts client can see it. If it can, then try and flash the firmware. If it can't, then you may need a replacement.
