Title: Linkstation Live - wrong firmware
Post by: CF71 on March 20, 2013, 06:16:33 PM

Hi all,

as the subject says, I mistakenly udate my LS-CH1.0TL (blue leds) with the firmware of the v2 release (red leds).

The result is that using NAS navigator I can find my NAS with host name: LS-CHL-EM64C and product name: LS-CHL-V2 Series. Obviously in "EM" mode.

If I try yo re-update with the right firmware (LS updater 1.12), LSU can't find any LS-CHL that need update...

I know the IP address and password of the NAS

Can anyone help me? Is there a way to recover?

Thanks a lot.

I tried using tftp like here: http://buffalo.nas-central.org/wiki/Revive_your_arm9_box_from_scratch : no effect..

Then I tried to reset all like here: http://forum.buffalo.nas-central.org/viewtopic.php?f=77&t=24581

but without success...
