Title: Problem with Buffalo Ministation Extreme 1Tb
Post by: snowd99 on March 20, 2013, 12:34:30 PM

I've had a Buffalo Ministation Extreme 1Tb for quite a while (since last summer) and it's worked fine up to now but for some reason it's just decided to not connect to my laptop. It makes a bit of a spinning noise, beeps and then does nothing. It's on a MacBook Air with USB 3.0. Anybody know the problem? I have a lot of data on there I really need!

Does it appear in disk utilty? Have you tested it on a second PC/MAC with a different USB 2 or USB 3 cable?

Where is your backup?
