Title: WebAccess and iPhone 5
Post by: rtbe25 on March 18, 2013, 05:08:33 PM

I love WebAccess app.  I use it all the time at home on my iPad and works flawlessly to view videos stored in my Buffalo storage.  But not so much on my iPhone 5.  Any reason why it can't utilize the whole screen of iPhone 5?  Looks like resolution is set for iPhone 4 and loses the portion of the screen on the sides.  I know the last update months ago said "iPhone 5 support" added but looks like that thing got missed.

Any news on any update for near future that will address this issue?  Thank you!

If your iphone 5 is jailbroken this just install "screen extender" from cydia and it will do what you want.

D'oh!  I wish mine was jailbroken now.

I was hoping for more... "legal" solution for it.  Like an official one.  I have to guess that it can't be that hard to make it work properly on iPhone 5.  But thanks for the reply.
