I'm having a problem getting mac/pc (Windows 7/8) users to authenticate when using their domain credentials to access the Linkstation Pro Duo. Users get a permission denied when accessing a share. Has anyone successfully setup shares on a Windows Server 2012 domain? Is Windows Server 2012 supported?
Shares work when using local LS-WVL32C accounts.
The LS-WVL32C has successfully joined the domain.
Domain Users and Groups are shown in the LS-WVL32C.
Shared folders are set up.
The LS-WVL32C's time zone/time matches the Windows server time.
DNS is setup correctly.
SFTP/FTP is disabled.
Solved. Make sure you are running 1.64. Mine was on 1.60. Upgrading to 1.64 fixed my problem.
Why is this marked 'solved'? I have the identical problem and I see pages and pages of people complaining of the same issue. However, each post has no solution. This is obviously a very common problem and is not fixed by flashing the firmware or formatting. My Shared Folders screen is also disabled. Please provide a solution. My box was working until I did a format. Now I have the same issue
