Title: LS-WV4.0TL/R1 - Infinite Scanning
Post by: matthoff on March 06, 2013, 12:28:25 PM

I have a LS-WV4.0TL/R1 with firmware 1.6.1. It is set up to do an automatic raid scan once per month. The current scan began on the 1st and is still running. NASNavigator2 shows "I15: Investigating error status of RAID array 1. 2013/03/01 02:25:18".

What is the proper procedure in this case? The unit is accessible and seems to be functioning properly. Should I restart it?

After 5 days and 16 hours the scan completed. Should it take 5 days for this device to complete a raid scan? It seems like a rediculous amount of time for such a small raid array.
