Title: LS-CH1.0TL - Problems Formatting a Seagate Hard Drive attached via USB

Hi,

Im using a PC with Windows 7.

My Linkstation Live is attached to a router.

I have connected the Seagate external hard drive (with its own power supply) directly to the Linkstation via USB.

I can see the Seagate in the NAS Navigator.

However I cant format the Seagate via the Disk Management facility. It keeps failing (XFS) for some unknown reason.

Any advice on how to solve this issue will be most appreciated!
