Title: Check Disc 4tb Linkstation
Post by: stevecrt on March 03, 2013, 01:24:33 PM

Hi

I am performing my first disk check on a Raid 0 4Tb Linkstation Pro (Firmware 1.64) with over 2.5tb of data.

It was merely routine and not becuse of any fault.

It has now been over 28 hours and the I/O light is still flashing 1 Long 4 short.

Any suggestions as to how long this will take and is it possible to interupt the operation?

I have tried (as per another thread) to plug in a USB but it had no affect.

Thanks in advance.

Steve

HI Davo
Thanks for the response. I have blessed with colour blindness.. It looks more green then orange but I don't think it's Red. Info/Error 1 long 4 short.
Sorry it's a bit vague.

OK so, in that case run the Nas Navigator software and it should let you know the exact error, bare in mind it might be E14 which means the RAID has collapsed :-(

Nas Nav does not detect the drive. The UI and IP adreess in the browser does not access the drive either.
