After spending several hours e-mailing the tech support and trying all sorts of solutions, I'm ready to post my problem on this forum, hoping that somebody can reach a solution.
I've bought a Cloudstation Duo and have not been able to activate it.
I can see the NAS on PC's and a Mac and have copied files on to it.
But activation does not work.
Tech support wants me to update the firmware, but that also doesn't work.
At the end of the firmware-update I get reply that there was a error in the connection
Firewall is of, no antivirus, pc where the update is running is connected to the router with cable, wifi on that pc is disabled, al possible ports are forwarded (tcp and udp) to the cloudstation.
I just ran out of options.
Can anybody help me?

No errors in the NAS Navigator.
error message during firmwareupdate:
couldn't confirm a response from CS-WXD41
please check a network address of both PC and CS-WXD41
Please disable the Firwall function if its working on PC
Updating is aborted.
Would it help if I connected the cloudstation directly to the PC using the UTP cable and thus without a router in between?
PC and Cloudstation are in the same range and on the same subnetmask
