Title: Firmware 1.64 & Twonky 6.0.42dev
Post by: p2nv on February 26, 2013, 11:57:21 AM

 Hi,

I own a LS-QVL/R5 and have installed the latest firmware which is 1.64 and it comes with twonky 6.0.42dev version which runs fine. the only problem i have is that i cannot get my subtitle files to stream. a lot of my movies have *.srt files which have been renamed exactly as the movie file but it still does not play. now i dont know if it has something to do with twonky not supporting it but they have released a 7.0.9 special update for NAS storage units which includes the linkstation i use. why doesnt buffalo push these updates through? as i dont know how to update the twonky myself.

Just pointing out the obvious, subtitles do not work with any version of twonky on the Linkstation, they have to be hard coded into the movie file itself.
