Title: Windows 7 and USB3 is painfully slow with HD-QL12TU3
Post by: rireland on February 19, 2013, 09:13:33 PM

I cannot achive transfer rates grearer that 3.5 MB/sec with my Drive Station Quad.  I've tried updating the BIOS, updating chipset drivers, i've even added a PCIe USB3 adapter (http://amzn.com/B0030CHI14) with no sucess.

Has anyone managed to get a Quad to actually function with a reasonable speed on a windows 7 box?

Update: I can get about 30 MB/sec if I switch to a USB2 port, with the lie from WIndows that the device will work faster in a USB3 port...
