Title: BitTorrent upload slow - enable ports in the router?
Post by: JtR_88 on February 16, 2013, 04:06:26 PM

Hey, I hope this topic doesn't already exist, I used the search and didn't find anything....

I bought a Buffalo Linkstation Live 3TB today. The installing and detection of the device worked fine, the client and the control of it via browser works as well.

My problem is about the BitTorrent client on the device. I added some torrents to it, the download speed is alright, but the upload speed is pretty poor (0,1-3 kb/s). Uploads from the client on my PC work much faster (1MB/s).

I already tried to enable/unlock the ports in the router that I also unlocked for the client on my PC. But it didn't get better.

I guess I'm not unlocking the correct ports. But google couldn't tell me what ports to unlock.

If anybody could help me with this it would be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

PS: If anybody needs more infos about the system please ask. Thanks
