Title: Buffalo Hard drive

Hi

My Buffalo HD-PV500U2 was working fine and then for some reason it stopped working. I plugged it into my computer again and it was not recognized as before and was not showing up as another drive in my computer like other people. The hard drive was making a beeping sound and was as if it was trying to spin but couldn't, is there any solution to this?

Have you tested it with a second PC using a different USB cable and if so are th results the same?
