Hi there,
This problem is not serious, but annoying. I use an encrypted buffalo removable hard drive, and it has created a virtual drive on my computer called 'BFRD-Drive (E:). Unfortunately, it has used up its space, and I keep getting these annoying messages "low disc space - do something about it". I've looked inside the drive and all I find are folders saying 'cache'.
I've tried a couple of things:
1) using cleaning applications does not work, and I don't want to screw things up by deleting files that might be important.
2) I thought I could simply increase the disc space, but since it doesn't show up in the control panel's administrative tools that's a non-starter.
3) there doesn't seem to be a utility in the 'buffalo tools' software that came with the disc (I use the ramdisc applications for speeding file transfers)
Can someone help solve this annoying problem?
Whoops. I have several buffalo hard drives, but only one that I've set up a password on: PX500U2 (the other ones are a PE500U2 and a PCETU3)
