Title: TS-QVH4.0TL/R6 with new 3TB disk Boot Fail
Post by: abioux on February 04, 2013, 07:49:47 AM

Hi Guyss .. need some help . this is my first post here.

I Bought TS-QVH4.0TL/R6 online. It doesnt come with drive because its a used unit .

I tried to put fresh 2 unit of  3TB WD30EURS inside and it says BOOT FAIL.

The NAS cant be detected on my PC also.

from here http://forums.buffalotech.com/t5/Storage/TS-QVH12TL-R6-Boot-Failure/m-p/110948/highlight/true#M52681

I see that we cannot use other driver except from Buffalo. Is it true ?

Is there any way to keep it functioning ? I dont have any buffalo disk with me.

Hello, have you solve this problem? I got exactly the same problem. I have a TS5800D and plug 8 fresh hard drives into it. I just got the "BOOT FAIL" message on the monitor. I don't know what to do with this. Please help :(
