Title: I'm locked out of my backup files after new OS
Post by: nesty3000 on November 24, 2012, 12:52:48 PM

I need help please.

I have just upgraded my system from Windows XP(SP3) to Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

Now I'm trying to open my back up files from my HD-LUB3, unfortunately, its asking me for a permission. I have tried to take ownership but still cannot open my files.

I have also tried to use the Run Recovery Tools function, but the "Unlock" button is disabled.

What can I do to regain my files? Please help. I have over 500GB of files on this.

I'm also not very computer savy..
