Title: Linkstation Live sleep problems
Post by: rsask on January 29, 2013, 01:36:33 PM

Have a Linkstation Live LS-XL running on an ASUS RT N66U and use OSX Lion to access the firmware. Have tried numerous times to get the alarm clock features to work without success. It has worked on a few occasions; usually will put the unit to sleep, or at least you are unable to access it and it no longer shows in the client list on the router. The odd thing is it is still powered up. From there it never wakes up unless you unplug it and power it up again, in which case you can access it and it shows up in the router client list again. My understanding was that putting it to sleep powers it down, is this not correct? Regardless, I am never able to access it after it has "gone to sleep" though it appears to still be powered (light blinking, drive spinning). Any help?

update to 1.64 and reset the Linkstation to defaults via the GUI once done.

Tried online update, tells me when it checks for an update that unit has latest firmware, 1.63.
