Title: Error Message: NAS Shut Down
Post by: bdsmith on January 27, 2013, 04:35:13 PM

I get messages on my computers telling me "The file server "blank" has shut down".  I have my NAS set to auto-power down based on connected devices.  But I have several computers wireless & wired that are running at the same time and I still get this message.  I also had this happen twice over the last two weekends.   I have a playlist of songs playing from my NAS on my media computer.  It'll get through a long period of time, then all of a sudden the music just stutters.  During this situation, I would not have been using any of my connected computers, so I am not sure if something is causing the NAS to auto-power down or what?

Any help on what could be causing this?  Am running the latest firmware 1.63 - Buffalo Linkstation LS-VL1.0.
