Title: web access set up
Post by: pancho018 on January 26, 2013, 06:53:32 AM

i'm struggling to get my web access set up to access files from outside my LAN

model: LS-V 3.0TL

Firmware version 1.64

applied the settings according to the FAQ document here

but when ever i click the link or go to BuffaloNAS.com/pancho549 it redirects me to 0.0.0.0:9000

from the LAN i can go to 192.168.0.7:9000 and web access works

and from outside the lan i can go to x.x.x.x:9000 and web access works. (where x.x.x.x is my IP address manually typed in.)

port forwarding is set up on my router.

anyone any ideas?

is it something that needs doing on my router rather than the NAS.

thanks in advance
