Title: can't access NAS Share from AirStation with Windows 7
Post by: jonigeht on January 23, 2013, 03:44:57 PM

Hey Guys,

i have very seroius strange problems with my AirStation.

The AirStation shares a 8-GB USB-Stick with the Share Name 'Data'

I can access this Share with my iPhone, Laptop(Win 7) and my old PC(Win 7).

For two days i've became my new PC. Installed Win 7 on it and from this PC i can't access the Share.

I've tried:

 - Turn off firewall

 - Turn off AntiVirus

 - Start Win in Safemode with Network and try there to access this Share

 - change a lot of Driver-Settings from the NIC

 - reinstall Win 7

and nothing solved my problem -.-.

An other share from my rasperry pi is accessible...

Has anyone an idea how i can fix it? I'm very frustrated!

My Airstation-model: WZR-HP-G450H

Firmware: DD-WRT v24SP2-MULTI (09/27/12) std

I am having the same issue, and have gone so far as to follow these instructions on Microsoft's forums, to no avail.

My Mac has no issue mounting the NAS drive as a network drive.

My Windows 7 Ultimate PC does, in fact, recognize the drive as a media server, but will not mount for read / write, no matter what I can do.
