Title: LS-WS500GL/R1 Capacity?
Post by: yoavie on January 20, 2013, 04:56:57 PM

Hi There,

I am using a LS-WS500GL/R1 in a 2x250gb Raid 1 configuration

I am unfortunately out of space.

Can I replace with larger drives? Is there a max drive size for the raid controller?

Also, If I can do this, what would be the best procedure to carry forward the data - swap bay 1, sync, then swap bay 2?

I cn't find any info on this in the documentation.

Thanks!

Y

Max hdds is 2 x 1TB, replace the HDDs and follow FAQ 3 of 5 in the storage section. It cannot be done without the data the unit being erased so do a backup before proceeding.
